A hydrating vitamin C serum for skin that looks dull, has an uneven tone, or is more reactive than you would like.

Why it works

The vitamin C in this product is in the form of 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid. This is not just a detail: pure vitamin C is notoriously unstable and quickly loses its potency once the bottle is opened. This variant is much more stable and therefore continues to do what you expect: making the complexion look brighter and more even.

It also contains beta-glucan and panthenol, two moisture-binding ingredients that make the skin feel plumper and calmer, and trifluoroacetyl tripeptide-2, a peptide that makes the skin look firmer over time. The texture is light and watery, absorbing instantly without leaving a sticky residue.

For whom

For a dull complexion, uneven pigmentation, sun damage, fine lines, and lingering scars. It is also suitable for reactive or easily irritated skin: this is one of the few vitamin C serums I dare to recommend for that skin type, precisely because this form is milder than pure ascorbic acid.

How to use it

In the morning, after cleansing and before your oils, creams, and sunscreen. Use two to three pumps, massaged over the face, neck, décolleté, and under the eyes. Always finish with sun protection during the day, as that is what maintains the effect of a vitamin C serum.

What I would like to emphasize

Vitamin C is often sold as a "glow" product, but that is not what it is. It is a maintenance product. You won't see the results in the mirror immediately after application; you will see it in your overall skin condition after a month or six weeks: less patchy, more vibrant. Keep the bottle out of the sun and away from the windowsill. I have seen far too many beautiful serums discolor on a bathroom shelf in direct light.
