Description

Only upon advice. I provide this product after a consultation to ensure it matches what your skin needs. Feel free to send me a message or book a free intake, and we can look at it together.

A concentrated vitamin A cream for skin that has developed a coarser texture, with fine lines, pigment spots, or small scars from past impurities.

Why it works

Vitamin A is one of the few ingredients in skincare that enjoys a broad consensus. This cream combines retinol with retinyl palmitate, a milder form that your skin converts more slowly, thus working more gradually. What you will see over time is a smoother texture, a more even complexion, and fine lines that appear less pronounced.

To keep that vitamin A comfortable, it is formulated in a base of oleic acid and jojoba oil. This makes the cream feel rich rather than drying, which is not a given for these types of formulas.

For whom

For skin with sun damage, fine lines, uneven pigmentation, or a coarse texture. Vitamin A can also be useful for impure skin, although that is precisely the type of skin that needs to build up usage slowly. For those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, this is not a product to start using on your own.

How to use it

In the evening, directly onto clean skin. Without anything underneath and without anything on top, including no mist or oil. You can apply a second layer to areas that need more. Build up slowly: start with two evenings a week and only increase when your skin remains calm. During the day, sun protection is not an option, but a requirement.

What I would like to share

Almost everyone who asks me about this starts too quickly and too often. Then, after ten days, flaky, sensitive skin follows, and they quit, concluding that vitamin A is not for them. That is a shame, because the problem was the pace, not the product. Expect to wait about three months before you really see the texture of your skin change, and increase usage gradually. And keep the rest of your routine simple during this build-up: this is not the time to also add acids or scrubs.

Would you like to know if your skin is ready for this and at what pace? Feel free to send me a message, and we can look at it together.
