Description
A mineral powder foundation that evens out your skin without looking like you are wearing anything. You can build the coverage yourself, from light to full.
Why it works
Powder foundation has a bad reputation for many people: dry, powdery, and visible in fine lines after a few hours. That is rarely the fault of the powder itself, but almost always due to how finely it is milled. The minerals and mica in this base are triple-milled, allowing them to sit on top of your skin instead of settling into it. You get a soft, semi-matte finish that diffuses light, without any white cast in photos.
It also contains skincare ingredients: vitamins C and E as antioxidants, and green tea extract that keeps the skin calm. Talc-free. The texture feels weightless, and after half an hour, you won't even think about it anymore.
For whom
For all skin types, including sensitive skin and skin that has just undergone a treatment. It works particularly well for combination or oily skin and for skin that is prone to breakouts: it contains no oil, and you can safely apply it over a blemish.
It is also perfect for drier skin. In that case, the preparation makes the difference: ensure your skincare has fully absorbed before you begin.
How to use it
Apply your serum, cream, and potentially a primer first, and give them time to absorb. Then, work with a kabuki brush or a sponge and press the powder into your skin using short, stippling motions instead of sweeping. Sweeping moves the product, pressing keeps it in place. Start in the center of your face and work outward. If you want more coverage in certain areas, apply a second thin layer rather than working with a thick layer immediately.
About this shade
Honey Light is the light depth within the honey family. This family leans in a warm, honey-yellow direction.
What I would like to share
The mistake I see most often is not the foundation, but the shade selection. Test your color on your jawline, in daylight, and not on the back of your hand. Your hand rarely has the same color as your face and almost always leads you to choose a shade that is too dark. If you are in doubt between two, choose the lighter one. You can still blend out a shade that is too light with a bronzer, but a shade that is too dark will remain visible on your jawline all day.
And one more thing: most people use too much. A thin layer where you need it is more beautiful than an even mask over your entire face. Your skin should be allowed to remain skin.
Are you unsure about your shade or which foundation suits your skin? Feel free to send me a message, and we can check it together.
