Description

A mineral powder foundation that evens out your skin without looking like you’re wearing anything at all. You can build the coverage yourself, from light to full.

Why it works

Powder foundation has a bad reputation for many people: dry, cakey, and visible in fine lines after a few hours. That is rarely the powder's fault and almost always due to how finely it is milled. The minerals and mica in this base are triple-milled, allowing them to sit on top of your skin rather than settling into it. You get a soft, semi-matte finish that diffuses light, with no white cast in photos.

It also contains skincare ingredients: vitamins C and E as antioxidants, and green tea extract to keep the skin calm. Talc-free. The texture feels weightless, and after half an hour, you won't even notice it's there.

For whom

For all skin types, including sensitive skin and skin that has just undergone a treatment. It works particularly well for combination or oily skin and for skin that is prone to breakouts: it contains no oil, and you can safely apply it over a pimple.

It is also perfect for drier skin. The key is in the preparation: ensure your skincare has fully absorbed before you begin.

How to use it

Apply your serum, cream, and any primer first, and give them time to absorb. Then, using a kabuki brush or a sponge, press the powder into your skin using short, stippling motions rather than sweeping. Sweeping moves the product around, whereas pressing lets it settle. Start in the center of your face and work outward. If you need more coverage in certain areas, apply a second thin layer instead of starting with a heavy one.

About this shade

Honey Dark is the deepest shade within the honey family. That family leans in a warm, honey-yellow direction.

What I’d like to share with you

The mistake I see most often is not the foundation, but the shade selection. Test your color on your jawline, in daylight, not on the back of your hand. Your hand rarely matches the color of your face and almost always leads you to pick a shade that is too dark. If you’re doubting between two, go for the lightest. You can fix a shade that’s too light with bronzer, but a shade that’s too dark will remain visible along your jawline all day.

And one more thing: most people use too much. A thin layer where you need it is more beautiful than an even mask over your entire face. Let your skin remain skin.

Are you unsure about your shade or which foundation suits your skin? Feel free to send me a message, and we can check it together.
