Glo Skin Beauty Powder Perfector Brush

A large, very soft brush for loose and pressed powder. Synthetic and vegan.

What it's for

For setting and finishing powder over your entire face. The bristles are loose and long, allowing them to distribute the powder rather than depositing it. That is exactly what you want: a setting powder should set your skin, not cover it.

How to use it

Pick up a little powder, tap off the excess well, and sweep over your face with light movements. Barely touch your skin: the weight of the brush is enough. If you want more in one area, go over it a second time instead of pressing down.

My tips

Wash it every two weeks with mild soap in lukewarm water, with the bristles facing down so that no water runs into the metal ferrule where the glue is. Reshape it and let it dry flat with the head over the edge of a towel; never upright in a cup while it's wet.

And really tap it off before you start. Almost everyone who finds that powder makes their skin look flat is simply using too much at once, and that starts with a brush that hasn't been tapped off.
