A light cream with vitamin C, for skin that looks dull and where dark spots and the first signs of aging are becoming visible.

Why it works

Vitamin C has a reputation for causing irritation, and that is due to pure ascorbic acid: it is unstable and acidic. Here, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate is used, a stable form that your skin converts gradually, making it much gentler to use. Vitamin C is primarily an antioxidant: it captures free radicals caused by the sun, heating, and pollution that cause the skin to age faster. In addition, it contributes to a more even-looking complexion. The moisture comes from hyaluronic acid and natural sugars such as trehalose, supplemented with grapeseed oil for suppleness.

The texture is light and silky, and absorbs easily.

For whom

For those who say their skin has lost its glow, looks gray in photos, or has become uneven in color. Also, if your skin is on the oilier side and you normally avoid creams: this one is light enough not to weigh it down. This smaller size is handy for trying it out or taking it with you when traveling.

How to use it

In the morning, in the evening, or both, after your cleanser, eye product, and serum. Apply to face, neck, and décolleté with light circular movements. It does not contain sun protection, so during the day, finish with a broad-spectrum sunscreen. What people often do wrong: leaving the tube on the windowsill or near a window. Vitamin C does not like light and heat; just put it in your cupboard.

What I would like you to know

A lot is expected from vitamin C, and quickly. In practice, you will first notice it in the brightness of the skin, after three to four weeks. Pigment takes longer, and without sun protection, it is of little use, because then you are building up what the sun takes away again every day. With the customers for whom it works best, this cream sits next to a good sunscreen, and it is that combination that counts, not the cream alone.
