An eye cream for the thin skin around your eyes: fine lines, dark circles, and a tired-looking gaze.

Why it works

Dark circles are usually not a matter of a lack of sleep, which is why they don't disappear after sleeping in on the weekend. The skin around your eye is considerably thinner than the rest of your face, causing the blood vessels underneath to show through; for some people, pigmentation also plays a role. This cream addresses the layers of that problem simultaneously: ceramides replenish the barrier so the skin becomes firmer and less translucent, a peptide complex and chrysin imide work on the remaining discoloration, and light-reflecting pigments immediately provide an optical effect while the rest needs time.

The texture is a light cream with a very subtle sheen upon application, which then fades away.

For whom

For anyone who always looks a bit tired around the eyes, notices fine lines when laughing that remain visible, or sees make-up settling into those lines. Also for those you might not expect: people in their twenties with circles they were born with often benefit from this the most, because the barrier is still easy to support.

How to use it

In the morning and evening, a very small amount, the size of a grain of rice for both eyes together. Tap it with your ring finger onto the bone around the eye socket, from the inner corner outwards, and not on the movable eyelid itself. What almost everyone does wrong: applying it too close to the lash line. The product will creep up on its own, and applying it too close often causes puffy eyelids in the morning.

What I would like to share with you

You will see the optical effect immediately, but the real difference in the skin only after eight to twelve weeks. So don't be disappointed after three weeks. And honestly: if your circles are primarily due to the shape of your eye socket, a cream will soften them, but it won't solve them. I'd rather say that upfront than afterwards. What I do see every time are fewer fine lines in people who also remember it in the morning and not just before going to bed.
