A serum for skin that has lost moisture: dull, slightly slacker in structure, with lines that look more prominent in the morning than in the evening.

Why it works

Dry and dehydrated are not the same thing, and that difference determines whether a product will be effective. Dry skin does not produce enough oil. Dehydrated skin lacks water, and that can happen to oily skin just as well. This serum focuses on the latter. Low-molecular hyaluronic acid and a glycosaminoglycan complex attract moisture and lock it into the upper layers of the skin, while ferulic acid works alongside vitamin E as an antioxidant and a messenger complex supports communication between skin cells. You feel the result as suppleness, not as a film.

The texture is fluid and light, with a dropper, and absorbs almost immediately. The scent is slightly reminiscent of cloves.

For whom

For anyone who says their skin looks dull and lifeless, or that make-up does not sit well on it. Also, if you have oily, shiny skin: that is often just skin that is lacking water and trying to compensate for it.

How to use it

Morning and evening, after cleansing and any active treatment. A few drops are sufficient for the face, neck, and décolleté. Massage in with light circular movements, let it absorb completely, and then apply your eye product and cream. What often goes wrong: using a serum with humectants on bone-dry skin without applying anything over it. Then it has nothing to lock in. Apply it to slightly damp skin and always finish with your cream.

What I would like to share with you

Hydration is the dullest step, yet the one that yields the most. You will feel the suppleness within a few days; the dullness usually turns around after two to three weeks. What I often see in the clinic: people invest in strong active products while their skin is actually just dehydrated, and then everything they use feels too irritating. Make this a permanent part of your routine for a month and you will notice that the rest of your skincare suddenly works better.
