Why it works

The skin around your eyes is much thinner than the rest of your face and has virtually no sebaceous glands, so it loses moisture more quickly and shows lines sooner. Bakuchiol, a plant-based extract from babchi seeds, improves skin texture in a way similar to retinol, but without the flaking and irritation that this area often cannot tolerate. A peptide complex and chrysinimide support the skin around the eyes, arginine plays a role in addressing dark circles and puffiness, and hyaluronic acid retains moisture so the skin looks plumper.

The texture is a light cream in an airless tube. It absorbs quickly and does not sting your eyes, even if you apply makeup over it.

For whom

For anyone who notices fine lines when smiling, or wakes up in the morning with puffy eyelids. Also if the skin there feels thin and dry. And unexpectedly: even if you don't have lines yet but spend a lot of time looking at screens or don't get much sleep, as that usually starts with dryness followed by dark circles.

How to use it

Apply once or twice a day to a cleansed eye contour. Take a rice-grain-sized amount for both eyes together. Apply with your ring finger, dabbing along the bone around the eye, and include the area under the eyebrow. What almost everyone does wrong: applying it too close to the lash line. Stay on the bone; the product will migrate naturally, and applying it too close is exactly what causes puffiness.

What I would like you to know

An eye product is the slowest product in your entire routine, simply because that skin has so little to offer. Morning puffiness can decrease within a few weeks, lines require two to three months, and dark circles that are hereditary or caused by the shape of your eye socket will not go away with a cream. I prefer to be honest about that at the checkout. What does happen for customers who stick with it: the skin looks smoother and makeup stays on better instead of settling into fine lines.
