Glo Skin Beauty Petite Smudge Brush

A compact, short brush with a dense head, for smudging eyeliner and creating soft definition around your eyes. Synthetic and vegan.

What it's for

A sharp eyeliner line may look crisp in a photo, but in real life it often makes your gaze look a bit harsh. This brush is short and firm enough to blur that line without smearing it, allowing your eye to retain definition while looking softer.

How to use it

Place the brush on your freshly drawn line and move it in short, small motions along the lash line. Do this immediately after drawing, while the line is still fresh: once eyeliner has dried, it can no longer be smudged. You can also use it to apply a little bit of eyeshadow under your lower lashes.

My advice

Wash it every two weeks with mild soap in lukewarm water, with the bristles facing down so that no water runs into the metal ferrule where the glue is. Let it dry flat with the head over the edge of a towel.

This brush sits close to your lash line and your eye moisture, so it gets dirty faster than you might think. For this one, I would even recommend washing it weekly, especially if you have sensitive eyes.
