Natural is the most neutral shade in this range. A firm, oil-free concealer for the spots you really want to hide: a breakout, a dark spot, or a scar that is still discolored.

Why it works

Covering up a spot rarely works with more foundation. Foundation is designed to even out your entire face, not to cover a single point, and the more layers you apply, the heavier it looks without the spot actually disappearing. This camouflage is specifically made for that one point: a high concentration of finely milled mineral pigments in a thick, creamy base, so an amount the size of a pinhead is enough for full coverage.

Because there is no oil in the formula, it stays exactly where you put it, even on skin that starts to get shiny throughout the day—which is usually where impurities are located. Vitamin C and E, along with rosemary leaf extract, act as antioxidants and help protect your skin from external influences. The coverage is high, but the finish still looks like skin rather than a layer of makeup.

Natural is the neutral middle ground: a shade with no pronounced warm or cool undertones, in the light-medium to medium range. This often makes it the safest choice if you are never quite sure whether your skin looks warm or cool. The manufacturer does not provide an exact depth for each shade, so if you are hesitating between two colors, feel free to let me know.

For combination or oily skin with impurities, for dark spots and pigmentation marks, for redness around the nose, or scars that are still discolored. It can also be used if your skin is dry: just apply your skincare first and use less product, because on a dry surface, a full-coverage formula settles into fine lines more quickly. And it's also suitable if you don't wear any other makeup, because you can perfectly use it just on that one spot.

How to use it

After your skincare, and after your foundation if you wear it. Take a very small amount on a firm concealer brush or your fingertip and press the product into the skin instead of wiping it. That is the detail that makes the difference: rubbing moves the pigments, causing your coverage to disappear immediately. Only blend the edges, not the center, and set it with a little powder if your skin tends to get shiny. One thin layer that you let sit for a moment and then touch up selectively covers better than one thick blob.

What I would like to pass on

This is a product that almost everyone uses too much and too broadly. A breakout already has texture; if you apply a thick layer, you might cover the color, but you make the bump larger, which is exactly what stands out. In the salon, I work with the tip of a brush, exactly on the discoloration, and only build it up if it still shows through after a minute. And I'll be honest: camouflaging is covering, not treating. It won't make the spot go away any faster, and picking at it usually makes it worse. What actually helps the skin is leaving it alone and working on the cause, for which we should look more at your skincare than your makeup.
