Why it works

Cleansing temporarily disrupts your skin's pH balance. A toner restores it, and that is more than just a detail: at the right pH, the products you apply afterward work better, and your skin feels calmer.

The active ingredient here is hamamelis, also known as witch hazel. It removes excess sebum and has a soothing and antioxidant effect. The result is skin that looks matte and where pores are less visible.

The texture is watery and light. It dries immediately and leaves no film behind.

For whom

For oily and combination skin, and for those who have a T-zone that shines faster than the rest of the face. If your skin is on the drier side or easily irritated, choose a milder toner; you don't need this one.

How to use it

After cleansing, morning and evening. Apply it to a cotton pad or with your hands, then immediately move on to your serum while your skin is still slightly damp. The latter is the part most people skip, and that is exactly where the benefit lies. Avoid the eye area.

What I'd like to share with you

A toner is not a mandatory step. For dry skin, it can easily be left out. But for skin that produces a lot of sebum, it is precisely the step that keeps your routine lighter: you will need less cream afterward, and that makes a difference.

What you shouldn't do is use it to get your skin "degreased" clean. If your skin feels tight or stinging after the toner, use it only on your T-zone and not on your entire face. A 200 ml bottle will last much longer that way.
