Why it works

Pigmentation spots occur when your skin produces too much pigment in certain areas, usually due to years of sun exposure, hormones, or a breakout that left a dark mark behind. At the heart of this cream is arbutin, a substance from the bearberry plant that inhibits the enzyme responsible for pigment production. Vitamins C and E neutralize damage from the sun and pollution, and a small amount of lactic acid helps renew the top layer. It is the version without hydroquinone, making it gentler on the skin.

The texture is light and absorbs quickly.

For whom

For sun spots, age spots, dark spots after breakouts, and an uneven complexion. Suitable for all skin types. Pregnant or breastfeeding: consult your doctor first.

How to use it

Morning and evening, after cleansing and toning. Apply a small amount, the length of your fingertip, over the entire face, not just on the spots. Keep away from the eyelids. In the morning, follow with Exfoderm and always finish with high sun protection.

My advice

The biggest mistake with pigmentation: applying it only to the spot. The spot you see is just the tip of the iceberg; there is already pigment surrounding it that isn't visible yet. So, always apply it over the entire face.

And honestly: it's better not to start without daily sunscreen. Whatever you clear up at night, the sun will put back during the day. Count on eight to twelve weeks before you really see a difference.
