NeoStrata Lotion Plus 15 AHA - 200 ml

A light lotion with 15 percent glycolic acid, for face and body. Intended for skin that feels rough or uneven and where a regular body lotion is no longer sufficient.

Why it works

Glycolic acid is the smallest of the fruit acids and therefore penetrates most easily. It loosens the bonds between dead skin cells so that they shed instead of remaining as a rough layer. Fifteen percent is a potent concentration: this is not an indulgent product but an active one.

You will notice the difference first on your upper arms, elbows, and shins, the areas where the skin most quickly becomes granular. The lotion spreads easily over a large surface area and absorbs without leaving a film.

For whom

For normal, dry, or oily skin, on the face or body. Especially interesting if you are familiar with those small bumps on your upper arms, or if your skin feels rough shortly after showering.

Not for those who are easily irritated or have recently undergone a treatment. For sensitive skin, it is better to choose the Bionic Lotion, which works with milder acids.

How to use it

Start every other day, in the evening, and build up to daily use if your skin tolerates it well. Apply to dry skin, so not immediately after showering. Avoid the eye area and irritated or broken skin.

Important: fruit acids make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Use sun protection during the day on the areas you treat, especially in the summer season.

What I would like to share

The mistake almost everyone makes with acids is doing too much too soon. Twice a week is enough to start, and your skin will tell you itself when it can handle more. If it stings, burns, or becomes red, take a step back instead of pushing through.

And count on about four weeks before you see anything. The skin on your body renews itself more slowly than that on your face, and that is precisely why people stop using this too soon.
