A fruit acid gel that you leave on for a few minutes before rinsing off. An exfoliation without grains, where the acids do the work.
Why it works
The gel contains lactic acid and glycolic acid, supplemented with glycerin and ascorbic acid. These two acids loosen the bonds between the keratinized cells on the surface so that they simply wash away when rinsed. Glycolic acid has the smallest molecule and therefore penetrates deeper; lactic acid is milder and also binds moisture, which keeps things in balance. The result is a smoother texture and a complexion that reflects more light, as a smooth surface reflects differently than a rough one.
It is a clear gel. It may tingle slightly, especially the first few times.
For whom
For a rough or uneven texture, clogged pores, a dull complexion, and fine lines. Also if your skin is oily and you feel that your skincare isn't absorbing: usually, there is just a layer of dead cells in the way.
How to use it
Apply to a cleansed face, neck, and décolleté. Leave on for three to five minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Never leave it on longer, even if it doesn't tingle. Do this in the evening and be sure to use sun protection the next day.
A note from me
There is a persistent idea that tingling means it's working and that a bit of redness is normal. That is not true. You should barely feel a good exfoliation, and you only see the result the next morning, when your makeup goes on more smoothly. What I encounter most often in the salon is skin that has been over-exfoliated: using an acid every day, scrubbing twice a week, and then being surprised that it has become reactive. Once a week is enough for most people. Let's see together what your skin can handle.
