Why it works

Self-tanner adheres to your top layer of skin. If there are dead cells on it that will shed in two days, your color will go with them — and that is exactly how those typical spots on knees, elbows, and ankles occur.

This mitt has a firm yet skin-friendly texture that thoroughly removes that layer without irritation. It also removes residues of previous self-tanner, so you start with a clean slate.

Reusable, so you only buy it once.

How to use it

On damp skin, in the shower or bath. Use gentle circular motions, paying extra attention to elbows, knees, and ankles. Then rinse off and hydrate your body.

Preferably 24 hours before you apply self-tanner.

A little advice

This costs less than fifteen euros and largely determines how your self-tanner will look. Of all the products in this line, this is the one that is skipped most often and makes the biggest difference.

One thing: really do it the day before, not the same evening. Your skin is slightly irritated after scrubbing and will absorb color unevenly. A night of rest resolves that.

And rinse the mitt well after use and let it dry completely — a damp glove in a warm bathroom is not a great place to store it.
