Glo Skin Beauty Luminous Liquid Foundation SPF 18 - Café

A light, liquid foundation that evens out your skin while making it glow, with added SPF 18 mineral sun protection.

Why it works

Dull skin usually doesn't need more color, but more light. This formula contains diamond powder: microscopic particles that diffuse light instead of reflecting it harshly. This softens the appearance of fine lines and imperfections without making you look shiny or glittery.

The coverage is light to medium and buildable. It also contains vitamin C and rosehip oil as antioxidants, along with cica and seaweed for hydration and a calm skin barrier. The sun protection comes from zinc oxide, a mineral filter that sits on top of your skin rather than absorbing into it.

The texture is liquid and light, feeling more like a nourishing cream than makeup.

For whom

For anyone whose skin looks flat or tired and wants to bring some life back into it. Also great for drier or more mature skin: it doesn't settle into lines the way a matte foundation can.

If you have very oily skin, this is probably not the right choice for you: the glow you are looking for here is something you already have naturally.

And one more important thing: SPF 18 is a nice extra, not a replacement for your sun protection. If you are going outside for the day, still apply a proper SPF underneath.

How to use it

Shake the bottle well before use, as the mineral pigments will settle. Apply after your serum and cream, using a foundation brush or your fingers. Work from the center of your face outwards and always blend down to your jawline so you don't have a visible edge at the transition to your neck.

About this shade

Café is one of the deepest shades in the range, with a warm coffee color.

A final tip

Test your shade on your jawline, in daylight, and not on the back of your hand. Your hand rarely has the same color as your face and almost always leads you to choose a shade too dark. If you are debating between two, choose the lighter one: you can fix a shade that is too light with bronzer, but you will see a shade that is too dark all day long.

And something I often see: people use it like a classic foundation and want to cover everything up. That is not what this is made for. Apply it thinly over your entire face and then touch up one or two spots with a concealer. That way, you keep exactly the glow you chose it for.
