Description
An orange-flavored collagen powder that you dissolve in cold water, with a generous dose of vitamin C added.
What's inside
Per 10-gram scoop: 9,585 mg of collagen peptides and 300 mg of vitamin C, providing 375% of the reference intake. Additionally, 110 mg of natural orange flavoring and 5 mg of steviol glycosides from stevia as a sweetener. There is nothing else in it—no sugar, no fillers.
The collagen is sourced from wild cod and hydrolyzed into tripeptides: the chains have already been broken down into short segments. A 300-gram jar is enough for thirty days. Contains fish.
What I am allowed to say
I can share something about the vitamin C, as the dosage is more than sufficient. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of the skin, the protection of cells from oxidative stress, the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, and the normal function of the immune system.
I am not allowed to make any claims about the collagen itself. This is not out of modesty on my part: European legislation does not permit any health claims for collagen, and therefore, I do not write any.
For whom
For those who prefer to drink their collagen rather than swallow it, and for those who already have a morning ritual involving a glass of water. The orange flavor makes it easier to stick with than a neutral powder. Not for those who avoid fish, and not for those who are not interested in a daily ritual, as that is what it all comes down to.
How to use it
Mix one 10-gram scoop into a glass of cold water every morning on an empty stomach. Do not use in coffee or tea: heat is not what you want with this powder. Stir briefly, let it sit for half a minute, and drink.
Do not exceed the recommended daily amount. A nutritional supplement is no substitute for a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or undergoing medical treatment.
What I would like to pass on
Collagen is one of the few subjects I keep reading about and questioning, which makes me even stricter about what I write regarding it. The market is full of powders, shots, and gummies that don't even state how much collagen they contain. This one does: nearly ten grams per serving, plus the vitamin C. I find that transparency more important than a pretty promise.
Why I have put this jar on the shelf and what I see in customers who stick with it for months, I prefer to tell you in person. On a product page, I would have to say things I am not allowed to say, and I will not do that.
What I can share: most people stop somewhere around the third week, just before it becomes a habit. Keep the jar next to your kettle, not in the cupboard. With collagen, that small detail is the difference between an empty jar and a half-full one gathering dust.
Questions about whether this is right for you, or how it compares to the capsules? Feel free to send me a message.
