Glo Skin Beauty Skin Glow Powder Highlighter - Champagne

A mineral powder that catches the light on the areas of your face where it lands, without glitter and without harsh shine.

Why it works

The difference between a beautiful glow and a glittery layer lies in particle size. Coarse particles reflect light in points, which reads as glitter. The particles in this powder are fine and pearlescent, which allows them to diffuse light. The result reads as skin that glows from within.

The formula contains vitamin C, an antioxidant that protects the skin against environmental stressors, and niacinamide, which supports the moisture barrier and makes the skin appear smoother. Mineral pigments, talc-free.

The texture is satin-soft and buildable, from a hint of glow to a distinct shimmer.

For whom

For skin that looks dull or tired. Also great for more mature skin: light on the upper part of your cheekbone optically lifts your face.

If you have visible pores or imperfections on your cheeks, you can still use it, but only high on the cheekbone and on your brow bone, not over the area itself.

How to use it

Take a small brush, tap off the excess, and apply the glow to the upper part of your cheekbone, on your brow bone, in your inner corner of the eye, and on the bridge of your nose. You can also use it as a shimmering eyeshadow or on your collarbones and décolleté.

Works beautifully over a highlighter stick: that provides the base glow, while the powder adds the accents.

About this shade

Champagne is the lightest of the three: a soft gold tone that reads most naturally on light to medium skin.

My advice

Highlighter belongs where the light naturally hits you, not everywhere you think it looks nice. Stand in front of a window and see where the light falls: those are your exact spots. Usually, that’s four spots, not ten.

And apply it high. A highlighter in the middle of your cheek catches light in the area where your skin is least smooth, which is exactly the opposite of what you want.
