Description
Only upon advice. I provide this product following a consultation to ensure it suits your skin's specific needs. Feel free to send me a message or book a free intake, and we can look at it together.
A thick herbal oil for areas where your skin is darker in color or where it feels rough and thickened. Use it targetedly, not all over your face.
Why it works
The oil consists of soybean oil, linseed oil, and cod liver oil for the omega fatty acids, oat oil for the ceramides, and rosehip oil for the antioxidants. In addition, it contains plant extracts such as Korean angelica, licorice, and gromwell, plus a fermented yeast complex.
What you see is mainly the result of those fats. An area that is thickened and cornified reflects light differently than the surrounding skin: rough and dry skin looks darker and duller than it actually is. By keeping that area supple and soft, the color difference with the surrounding skin is visually reduced. Licorice helps ensure the area looks calmer.
The texture is dark and thick, and the scent is distinctly herbal.
For whom
For pigment spots, sun spots, thickened patches, and for dark circles and fine lines around the eyes. Also suitable for use on the body, on elbows, knees, or other rough areas where you might not immediately expect it.
How to use it
First, mist your skin with Herb & Mineral and then massage a few drops into the still-damp skin until absorbed. On the body, it is best to do this after showering. In your routine, it comes after your serums and before your cream. On stubborn areas, you may use it two to three times a day.
A final word of advice
The color and scent scare people off, I know. It looks like something from an old-fashioned pharmacy and smells like it, too. Feel free to use it only in the evening if you don't want to walk around with it on. And most importantly: pigment requires patience and, above all, consistency with your sun protection. Without SPF during the day, you are working against yourself every single day, and then no product in the world can compensate for that.
