What it's for

For foundation and powder on the go. The dense head holds the product within the bristles, allowing even a small brush to provide a smooth, streak-free finish.

How to use it

Extend the handle for use and then retract it to protect the bristles. Use short, stippling motions on the areas you want to touch up, and blend briefly. Dab rather than sweep: this ensures you don't displace the make-up that is already there.

My pro tip

A travel brush is usually washed much less frequently than a brush kept on your vanity, and your skin will notice. Wash it every two weeks with mild soap and lukewarm water, keeping the bristles pointed downward so water doesn't run into the handle. Let it dry flat with the head hanging over the edge of a towel.

And only store it once it is completely dry. A damp brush inside a closed cap is exactly the environment you don't want.
