Glo Skin Beauty Flat-Top Kabuki Brush

A dense, flat-top brush for foundation, and the brush that gives you an even result the fastest. The fibers are synthetic and vegan.

What it's for

For liquid, cream, and powder foundation. Because the bristles are packed closely together, they hold the product between them instead of sweeping it across your skin. That is why this brush gives you medium to full coverage without having to use more product.

How to use it

Two ways. Buffing: small circular motions over your skin, which gives an even, smooth finish. Or stippling: light pressing, tapping motions, and then blending briefly. Stippling gives more coverage, buffing a more natural result. Always work from the center of your face outwards.

A quick tip from me

Wash your brush every two weeks with a mild soap in lukewarm water. Keep the bristles pointing downwards while doing so, so that no water runs into the metal ferrule where the glue is. That is actually why brushes start shedding, not because of age. Afterwards, press it back into shape and let it dry flat on a towel, with the head over the edge. Never upright in a cup while it is wet.

Once it is dry, it can stand upright, with the bristles facing up. By the way, a dirty foundation brush is the most underestimated reason why skin remains troubled.
