A light treatment for the eye contour and neck, the two areas where the skin is thinnest and where you will see the first fine lines appear.
Why it works
The formula combines acetyl hexapeptide-8, olive-derived squalane, ascorbyl glucoside, hyaluronic acid, and taurine. Squalane is interesting because it is a lipid that also occurs naturally in your skin: this allows it to absorb easily into thin skin without feeling heavy. The hyaluronic acid attracts water, making the skin look plumper and softening the appearance of fine lines. Ascorbyl glucoside is a stable form of vitamin C and helps to promote a fresher, more even complexion around the eyes.
The texture is fluid, almost serum-like, and comes in a pump bottle. You can feel it being absorbed without leaving any residue behind.
For whom
For those starting to see fine lines around the eyes, waking up with a puffy eye contour, or dealing with dark circles. Also interesting if you have oilier skin: this won't weigh down the eye area, which a classic eye cream often does.
How to use it
Use two pumps, distribute the product over your fingertips, and dab it around the eyes and on the neck. Mist Herb & Mineral over it and press gently until absorbed. In your routine, it comes after your serums, oils, and mists, and before your sun protection.
A final tip
Don't rub. That is the only thing I really want to emphasize. The skin around your eyes is several times thinner than the rest of your face and stretches with every movement you make. Dab and press, always, and use your ring finger because it naturally applies less pressure. And include your neck, every single time. It is the area most often skipped, even though it ages along with the rest, and it is much harder to correct issues on the neck later on.
