A liquid weekly treatment for skin that clogs easily and looks dull. You wipe it over the skin, leave it on for three minutes, and rinse it off.

Why it works

The formula revolves around sea salt and kelp. Sea salt draws in moisture, taking loosened sebum and dirt from the top layer of the skin with it; kelp provides minerals and trace elements. What stands out is what is not in it: no abrasive grains and no acids. Cleansing here is therefore not mechanical or chemical, but is done by the salt working over those three minutes.

The texture is thin and watery, almost like a lotion. You apply it with a cotton pad and feel it dry immediately.

For whom

For skin that clogs easily, with large pores around the nose and chin, and that feels greasy by the evening after a day in the city, in a hot kitchen, or in a workshop. Even if your skin is rather sensitive: precisely because there is no scrubbing or acid involved, this is often suitable where a scrub would be too much.

How to use it

On dry, cleansed skin. A few drops on a cotton pad, then wipe over the face and neck. Leave it on for exactly three minutes and then rinse thoroughly with cool water. Follow with your regular skincare routine. Once or twice a week, not daily.

A word of advice

Honestly: this doesn't smell great. On some skin types, a distinct odor is released during those three minutes, which only disappears when you rinse it off. Don't be alarmed by this; just rinse well. A common mistake I see is people leaving it on longer, thinking it will work better. It won't. It just makes your skin feel tighter and drier, leading you to give up after two uses. Set a three-minute timer and stick to it.
