Emmagen Hyal C-Glow

The day cream that completes the Hydra & Glow line by I'm Emmagen: hydration and vitamin C in one step.

Why it works

Most vitamin C products are serums, which can be too irritating for some skin types. Here, the vitamin C is in a cream, in three different forms that each work at a different level of the skin. Gentler, therefore, but no less targeted: on a dull complexion and on pigment spots.

In addition, it contains hyaluronic acid for moisture and ergothioneine, a powerful antioxidant. The brand's ASR technology is designed to deliver the active ingredients deeper than a regular cream.

Fragrance- and paraben-free.

For normal to dry skin that looks dull, and for those seeing pigment spots emerge. Also for those who found a vitamin C serum too harsh: this is in the same vein, in a milder form.

If you are following the Hydra & Glow line, this is step three, after the Hyal Balancing Lotion and the Hyal Serum.

How to use it

Half a pump in the morning on cleansed skin. Gently massage into the face and neck and let it absorb completely before applying makeup or sunscreen. That sunscreen is essential when using vitamin C.

A word of advice

Half a pump may seem like little, and almost everyone starts by taking more. Don't: with these concentrations, more does not mean better; it just absorbs worse and your bottle will be empty in half the time.

And what I see in practice regarding pigment: creams and serums do their job, but it is sun protection that determines whether you make progress or stand still. A spot that you treat in the morning and expose to the sun unprotected in the afternoon will return. Every single time.
