Neoretin Serum Booster Fluid - 30 ml

The Neoretin depigmenting serum: the higher-dosed workhorse of the range, for brown spots that won't fade on their own.

Why it works

Pigment spots are stubborn because two things are happening at once: what is already there, and what is still to come. A product that only addresses the first will look good at the start and then hit a wall.

This serum does both. It combines Retinsphere, Neoretin's retinoid technology, with the Whitening Booster System: six ingredients that intervene at different stages of the pigment formation process, including niacinamide, salicylic acid, and kojic acid.

It is the stronger of the two serums in this range. If you are looking for something gentler, the Pigment Neutralizer Serum is the milder version — it works with bakuchiol instead of retinoids.

The texture is light and absorbs quickly, so you can easily apply a cream over it.

For whom

For sun-aged skin with brown spots, for hyperpigmentation and melasma, for spots left behind by acne, and for a complexion that looks uneven and dull.

Are you pregnant or breastfeeding? Then choose the Pigment Neutralizer Serum — it is milder and safe to use during that period.

How to use it

Morning and/or evening, on cleansed skin of the face and neck. Shake the bottle before use. Follow with your cream.

And now for the part that makes or breaks it: high sun protection during the day, every day, even in winter and even when it's cloudy.

What I'd like to share with you

Of all the skin problems I see in the clinic, pigment is the one where the client determines the outcome the most. I can perform peels for you, I can provide you with serums, but if you sit in the garden for three days in June without protection, you'll be back to square one by September.

That’s not meant to be harsh; it’s simply how pigment works: your skin produces it in response to light. Protection is not an extra on top of the serum in this regimen — it is half of the treatment.

Expect to wait three months before you really see a difference, and longer for stubborn spots. Those who know that before starting are more likely to stick with it.
