Glo Skin Beauty Detail Blender Brush

A small, soft brush with a loose head, designed to soften and blend eyeshadow. Synthetic and vegan.

What it’s for

Not for applying color, but for blending out edges. The bristles are loose enough to fan over your eyelid and distribute pigment without picking it up. That difference is why you should apply color with a dense brush and only use this one to soften it afterwards.

How to use it

Use it without any product on it. Move in small circles along the edge of your eyeshadow until you can no longer see where the color begins. Keep the pressure light: as soon as you push, you’ll wipe the color away instead of diffusing it.

My pro tip

Wash it every two weeks with mild soap in lukewarm water, with the bristles pointing downwards so no water runs into the metal ferrule where the glue is. Reshape it and let it dry flat with the brush head hanging over the edge of a towel.

If any brush is worth having two of, it’s this one. Keeping a clean blending brush for each color family keeps your light shades light, and that makes more of a difference than you’d think.
