A tinted day cream with SPF 30 in shade 6W: color, hydration, and sun protection in one step.

Why it works

Applying foundation and sunscreen separately means two layers on your face, and one of them usually gets skipped. This moisture tint brings them together, with broad-spectrum protection based on zinc oxide, avobenzone, and octisalate.

It also contains vitamin C as an antioxidant against pollution and free radicals, squalane for oil-free hydration, and bisabolol with chamomile extract to keep the skin calm.

The coverage is light and buildable: using your fingers or a damp sponge gives you a second-skin effect, while a brush allows you to build up to medium coverage. The finish is natural and slightly dewy, not matte.

About this shade

6W is medium with a warm, golden undertone. A half-step deeper than 5W.

For balanced, combination, and sensitive skin. Non-comedogenic, 50 ml.

How to use it

In the morning as the last step, after your serum and moisturizer. Apply generously and avoid the eye area. If you are staying in the sun for longer, reapply every two hours.

What I would like to share

Two things I keep repeating in the treatment room about tinted day creams with SPF.

The first is about the amount. You only get that SPF 30 if you use enough of it, and with a tinted product, almost no one does — you stop when the color looks right, and that is about a third of what is needed. If you want to use this as your real sun protection, be generous. If you apply it lightly for the look, assume you need to add protection on top.

The second is about choosing your shade. Never test on your hand, because it has a different color than your face. Test on your jawline, in daylight, and choose the shade that disappears rather than the shade that looks nice. If you are doubting between two, take the lighter one — you can always add bronzer.
