A tinted day cream with SPF 30 in shade 10W: color, hydration, and sun protection in one step.

Why it works

Applying foundation and sunscreen separately means two layers on your face, and one of them usually gets skipped. This moisture tint combines them, offering broad-spectrum protection based on zinc oxide, avobenzone, and octisalate.

Additionally, it contains vitamin C as an antioxidant against pollution and free radicals, squalane for oil-free hydration, and bisabolol with chamomile extract to keep the skin calm.

The coverage is light and buildable: using your fingers or a damp sponge gives you a second-skin effect, while a brush allows you to build up to medium coverage. The finish is natural and slightly dewy, not matte.

10W is the deepest shade in the range, with a warm undertone.

How to use it

In the morning as the final step, after your serum and moisturizer. Apply generously and avoid the eye contour. If you are staying in the sun for longer, reapply every two hours.

A piece of advice

Two things I keep repeating in the clinic about tinted day creams with SPF.

The first is about the quantity. You only achieve that SPF 30 if you use enough of it, and with a tinted product, almost no one does — you stop when the color looks right, which is about a third of what is needed. If you want to use this as your actual sun protection, be generous. If you apply it lightly for the look, assume that you still need extra protection.

The second is about choosing your shade. Never test on your hand, as it has a different color than your face. Test on your jawline, in daylight, and choose the shade that disappears rather than the one that looks pretty. If you are in doubt between two, choose the lighter one — you can always bronze later.
