Why it works

A well-groomed brow is usually not a matter of more color, but of direction. Hairs that point in every direction make a brow look thinner and messier than it actually is. This water-based gel creates a thin, flexible film around each hair, which allows it to stay where you brush it, and that film moves with you instead of breaking. As a result, you won't get white flakes throughout the day.

Because it is colorless, it works with any brow color, from blonde to black, and even on graying hairs. The texture is light and glides smoothly through the brow.

For whom

For those with full or unruly eyebrows that won't stay in place on their own. Also for those with thinner brows: by brushing the hairs up and outward, you optically fill in the space between them, making the brow look fuller. And for those who fill in their brows with pencil or powder: applying this gel over the top keeps everything in place without smudging the color.

How to use it

Wipe the brush off on the edge of the tube before you start, because you really only need a tiny amount. Brush the hairs upward at the inner part of your brow first, and then diagonally outward towards your temple. Apply over your filler product, not underneath it. Too much product is the only way to go wrong with this: it creates a somewhat white, sticky effect.

My advice

This is one of the most affordable products in the range, and at the same time, the one that makes the quickest difference on a makeup-free day. Brushed-up brows open up your eyes more than mascara does, and it only takes you ten seconds.

Something else that often goes wrong: the tube being left half-open in a makeup bag. Always screw the cap on tightly and store it upright, so the gel doesn't dry out. Such a tube lasts a long time, precisely because you use so little of it.
