Glo Skin Beauty Bronze - Sunkiss

A mineral powder bronzer that adds warmth back to the areas of your face where the sun would naturally hit first.

Why it works

A bronzer isn't meant to make you look tan; it's meant to bring depth back to a face that has been flattened by a layer of foundation. That’s why you shouldn't apply it everywhere, but specifically to the areas where your skin naturally catches color first.

The formula is talc-free and finely pressed, with a subtle shimmer so the color doesn't look flat or dusty. It contains a complex of vitamins C and E as antioxidants, along with green tea extract to keep the skin calm.

The texture is lightweight and blends out without any streaks or harsh edges, and won’t leave a white cast in photos.

For whom

For anyone who looks a bit flat after applying foundation, and for the months when your skin sees little daylight.

Also suitable if you have a darker skin tone: in that case, use it more for warmth than for depth, applying it to your cheekbones and temples.

How to use it

Take a powder brush, tap off the excess, and work in light motions over your cheeks, temples, jawline, and hairline. These are precisely the spots where the sun would hit you. Also apply a little to your neck and décolleté so that your face isn't warmer than the rest.

My advice

The classic mistake is using bronzer as a contour: a sharp line under the cheekbone. Bronzer is warmth, contour is shadow, and those are two different things. A bronzer works best applied as a loose '3': from your forehead along your temple, in toward your cheek, and back out toward your jaw.

And really tap your brush. Any excess you don't tap off will land on your cheek all at once, which is the exact moment you'll have to start all over again.
