Glo Skin Beauty Powder Blush - Melody

A mineral powder blush that gives your cheeks a fresh color, without your face looking like it’s wearing makeup.

Why it works

Blush is often blamed when the result is too harsh, but that is rarely due to the color. It is due to how finely the pigment is milled. This powder is very fine, which allows you to build it up in thin layers: you start with almost nothing and add until it’s right, instead of applying a patch all at once.

The base is talc-free, with mica and boron nitride, which makes the texture silky smooth and lets the powder glide over your skin instead of gripping into it. Furthermore, it contains green tea extract and antioxidants such as vitamin E.

For whom

For all skin types, including sensitive skin. Especially nice if your skin looks flat or tired: a little color on your cheeks usually does more than an extra layer of foundation.

And also if you don't normally wear blush because you find it too much. Tap your brush on the back of your hand first, and you will see how little you actually need.

How to use it

Pick up the powder with a blush brush, tap off the excess, and sweep lightly over the apple of your cheek, in the direction of your temple. If you want more color, apply a second layer instead of pressing harder.

Also works on your eyelids and lips if you want a look in a single color family.

About this color

Melody is a matte, medium-pink shade. Pink is close to the natural flush of light to medium skin, which makes this color easy to wear every day.

What I would like to pass on to you

What I point out to customers most often: don't smile while you apply your blush. Everyone does it, but on a smiling cheek, you place the color too high and too round, and as soon as your face relaxes, that flush is in a place where it doesn't belong. Look straight ahead with a relaxed face and work from your cheek toward your temple.

And keep the amount low. Blush should read as something that comes from you, not as something you put on top.
