Biretix Tri-Active Gel - 50 ml

The strongest gel in the Biretix line, for mature skin that has not only blemishes but also the marks they leave behind: brown spots, pits, and a rough texture.

Why it works

This gel works on three fronts simultaneously, which is where its name comes from. Fifteen percent glycolic acid loosens the bonds between dead cells on the surface, making the skin smoother and helping spots fade faster. Two percent salicylic acid is oil-soluble and therefore works inside the pore itself, where glycolic acid doesn't reach. And the RetinSphere technology, a combination of hydroxypinacolone retinoate and encapsulated retinol, works deeper on skin renewal and pigmentation. Added to this is five percent niacinamide, which helps regulate sebum production and evens out the complexion, plus BIOPEP-15, the peptide complex from the Biretix line. This allows you to tackle blemishes and their aftermath in one single product.

The texture is a light, alcohol-based gel that dries quickly. It may sting slightly for the first few minutes after application, and that is normal.

For whom

For adults with blemish-prone skin and visible residual marks: dark spots, uneven texture, enlarged pores. Not the first choice if your skin is very sensitive or just recovering from something, as this is the most active formula in the line. Better to start with Biretix Duo and build up.

How to use it

Shake before use. Apply once or twice a day to cleansed areas, preferably in the evening. Start with two to three times a week and only increase once your skin allows. This contains both acids and a retinoid, so sun protection is mandatory every morning, even in winter: exfoliated skin pigments more easily, and without SPF, you are working against yourself. Do not use this product during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you still feel irritation after some time, stop and let your skin recover.

What I would like to share with you

This is the product for which I most often have to put on the brakes instead of encouraging use. People are tired of their skin, they buy something strong, and they use it twice a day all over their face immediately. Two weeks later, everything is red and flaky, and then they quit. Starting slowly always wins. What I also see in those who build it up gradually: the texture improves first, somewhere around weeks four to six, and the spots follow much more slowly, sometimes only after three months. That’s not bad news; that’s just how pigment works. If your skin dries out along the way, supplement with Biretix Isorepair instead of stopping.
