Biretix Isorepair regenerating cream - 50 ml

A repairing cream for skin that has been through a lot: flaking, tight, red, and painfully dry after skincare or treatment with retinoids.

Why it works

Anyone using retinoids will sooner or later deal with a barrier that can no longer keep up. That barrier is not just a film but a wall: cells like bricks, with a cement of ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids in between. If that cement runs out, you constantly lose moisture and everything from the outside gets in. This cream replenishes exactly those three building blocks: glucosylceramide, phospholipids, and cholesterol. Hyaluronic acid adds moisture, vitamin E and boswellia soothe, and Cantabria Labs' SCA growth factor technology, the filtered snail secretion, supports skin repair. Squalane provides a soothing feel without making the formula comedogenic, which is important for this skin type.

The texture is creamy and soothing, but not heavy. It absorbs and leaves no shine.

For those using a retinoid treatment and noticing that their skin can no longer keep up. Also for those who have been prescribed a retinoid treatment by a doctor and are suffering from dry, chapped skin: please consult your doctor about what you use on top of it. And actually, for anyone with dehydrated skin after winter, a trip, or a period where their routine was too intense.

How to use it

Once or twice a day or as often as you need, on clean skin. If you are in a period where your skin is really flaking, feel free to use it more often and also on your lips and in the corners of your mouth, as those are the areas that break down first. If you want to combine it with Biretix Duo or the Tri-Active Gel: apply the gel first, let it absorb, and then apply this cream over it.

A tip from me

This is the product that most often saves what would otherwise be stopped. I see it time and time again: people stop a retinoid course after three weeks because their skin is flaking and burning, and then all the hard work has been for nothing. With a good repairing cream, you can get through those first few weeks. Keep it simple during such a period: cleanse, this cream, sunscreen. No acids, no scrubs, no trying new jars. And apply it thickly, don't be stingy. This is not the time to save on your cream.
