Heliocare 360 Gel Oil-Free SPF 50+ Bronze Intense - 50 ml

The deepest of the three shades: high sun protection with a warm, saturated color, for those who find Beige or Bronze too pale or too gray.

Why it works

The color in this gel comes from iron oxides. They provide the tint, but they also do something a transparent sunscreen cannot: they shield against visible light. That light plays a role in pigment spots and melasma, and on warmer skin tones, pigment often appears faster and more stubbornly. That is why a tinted formula here is rarely just a cosmetic choice.

The protection is broad: SPF 50+ against UVB, plus filters for UVA, visible light, and infrared, supplemented with Fernblock, the fern extract that Heliocare uses as an antioxidant alongside the filters.

The texture is fluid, oil-free, and sebum-regulating, with a matte dry-touch finish. Non-comedogenic.

For whom

For combination to oily skin with a warmer or darker complexion, and for those who tan significantly in the summer. Also great if you are dealing with pigment or melasma and a transparent formula proves insufficient for you. If your skin is lighter, take a look at Bronze or Beige. If you have normal to dry skin, the Color Gelcream in the Brown shade will be more comfortable.

How to use it

In the morning as the final step, after your serum and cream. Two finger lengths for the face, ears, and neck. Dot it over your entire face and then smooth it out to ensure the color remains even, and work it down to the neck. Reapply every two hours when exposed.

What I’d like to share

With darker skin, I often hear that sunscreen isn't necessary. Burning does indeed happen less quickly, but pigment spots and an uneven skin tone occur just as easily, and sometimes more stubbornly. For me, that is the most important reason to use this product daily, not just when traveling.

And the point that applies to everyone: almost no one uses enough. You only achieve the SPF on the packaging with a generous layer and by reapplying every two hours.
