Description

High sun protection with a warm, natural tint in one step. Bronze is the medium shade of the three and the one that is most often right, especially once you have had some sun.

Why it works

What makes this gel special is not the color itself, but what that color brings with it. The tint comes from iron oxides, which protect against both UV and visible light: exactly the light that causes pigment spots to flare up and which a transparent sunscreen leaves untouched.

In addition, the protection is broad: SPF 50+ against UVB, plus filters for UVA, visible light, and infrared, with Fernblock added, the fern extract that Heliocare uses as an antioxidant alongside the filters. Filters catch radiation, while the antioxidant works on what happens despite those filters.

The texture is fluid and oil-free, with a sebum-regulating effect and a matte dry-touch finish. Non-comedogenic.

For whom

For combination to oily skin, including those prone to breakouts, and for anyone who wants to keep pigmentation under control. Bronze suits light to medium-toned skin and those who tan in the summer. If you stay pale all year round, choose Beige; if you have a naturally warmer, darker complexion, then Bronze Intense is more logical. If your skin is normal to dry, look at the Color Gelcream.

How to use it

In the morning as the final step, after your serum and cream. Two fingers' worth for the face, ears, and neck: a line along your index and middle finger. Dot it over your entire face first and then smooth it out, otherwise you will end up with a darker center and lighter edges. Blend just past your jawline. Reapply every two hours when exposed.

What I would like you to know

What I see most often in the treatment room: people choose their shade on a day when they are tanned and are completely off by October. It is better to choose your color based on your average skin tone, not your summer peak. And if you are between two shades, choose the lighter one. A tinted sunscreen should refresh your skin; it does not need to change your complexion.

Furthermore, the point that applies to the entire range: almost no one uses enough. You only achieve the SPF on the packaging with a generous layer and by reapplying every two hours.
