Why it works

Make-up with SPF on the packaging rarely provides the degree of protection stated in practice, because you use far too little of it. This compact is structured differently: it is sun protection that wears like a foundation, ensuring the layer you apply is actually thick enough to count. It works with a broad-spectrum filter complex against UVA and UVB, supplemented with an antioxidant complex and a nourishing complex based on sunflower.

The formula is vegan, coral-friendly, and free from mineral oil. The texture goes from cream to powder on the skin, is long-lasting, and does not leave a heavy layer behind.

For those who want coverage and high protection at the same time, for example, if the skin has just undergone a treatment or has an uneven tone. For those who prefer not to lug a tube around in their handbag. And what you wouldn't expect: also for those who actually hate foundation. Because you can build it up very thinly with the sponge and only where necessary, it never comes across as a mask.

How to use it

In the morning on cleansed skin, after your skincare routine, about thirty minutes before you go outside. Apply with the included sponge and blend evenly down to the neck. The mistake almost everyone makes: applying it too thinly because it looks better that way. For the level of protection stated on the box, you need a generous layer. Touch up every two to three hours when you are outside, and especially after sweating or swimming. Wash the sponge regularly.

About this shade

A medium shade with a matte finish. It suits neutral to olive skin that tans easily, and those who get shiny throughout the day. Choose this one if your skin is more combination or oily and you want your coverage to still look good at four o'clock.

A final tip

I often see customers hesitating between two shades at the checkout. Choose based on undertone, not light or dark: a shade that is the right depth but the wrong undertone will be much more noticeable. Test on your jawline in daylight, not under store lights and not on your hand. And one more thing: the finish of this compact, matte or luminous, determines at least as much how your skin looks as the color itself. A matte shade on dry skin quickly makes it look older than it is.
