Why it works

Oily skin doesn't need an aggressive cleanser, but one that removes sebum without drying out the skin. Otherwise, it will just produce more sebum to compensate. This gel works with cleansing agents derived from oats, which are gentle while also helping to retain moisture. Aloe vera, chamomile, alfalfa, and borage extract soothe the skin. It lathers lightly and feels fresh. It contains fragrance.

For whom

For normal to oily and combination skin, and for anyone who wants to thoroughly remove makeup and the day's grime. If your skin is dry or sensitive, the Nu-Derm Gentle Cleanser is the better choice.

How to use it

Morning and evening. Wet your face and neck, work a small amount into a soft lather, and massage briefly. Rinse with lukewarm water, not hot, and pat dry. Follow with the Nu-Derm Toner.

What I'd like to share with you

The first habit I often have to break with oily skin: scrubbing until it squeaks. That "really clean" feeling is usually skin that has lost its protective barrier. A good cleanser leaves your skin clean but comfortable.

If your skin feels tight after drying, the water is too hot or you are cleansing for too long. Thirty seconds of massaging is enough.
