Why some products are only available upon advice

Some products in this webshop do not have a purchase button, but instead carry a note that you need advice first. This is not meant to be a barrier or to make things difficult for you. Here is why I do it this way.

These are professional-grade treatments

You are welcome to choose most of the products here yourself. A cleanser, a sun filter, a good day cream: you can’t go wrong with those. But a portion of my offerings comes from professional lines developed for use within a treatment plan. They contain higher concentrations of active ingredients, the products are designed to work together, and the sequence and build-up make all the difference.

Such a product is not a jar you simply try out. On the wrong skin type, or alongside other active products you are already using, it can actually upset your skin. In that case, it is not the product that is the problem, but the choice.

What I want to know first

Before I provide such a treatment, I want to have seen your skin. I look at its structure, moisture balance, how quickly your skin reacts, and what is currently changing. In addition, we will discuss what you are currently using, what you have already tried, and if there are any factors I need to take into account.

Only then do I know if this product suits you, at what concentration you should start, how often to use it, and what you should avoid combining it with. That is the difference between something that works and something that ends up sitting in your bathroom cabinet.

Start with a Meet and Treat

I would rather you sit down with me to talk about your skin than struggle with jars at home. That is what the Meet and Treat is for. We take the time to look at what your skin is doing, what you have used until now, and what you actually want to achieve. And you won't leave with just advice: you get an immediate treatment, tailored to what I feel as I work on your skin.

Because that is where the difference lies. Assessing skin based on a photo or what someone tells me remains guesswork. With my hands on your skin, I notice things you don’t see yourself: where it is tense, where it lacks moisture, how quickly it reacts to what I apply.

After that, I know which products belong to you, and you know why. What you do at home and what we do here must serve the same goal. Otherwise, they work against each other, and I see that happen more often than I’d like.

How it works in practice

On the product page, click on "Request advice." You will then be connected to me with your question about the product, and I will get back to you. Would you rather make an appointment right away? Then book your Meet and Treat via the link above.

After our conversation or after your treatment, you can take the product home from the salon, or I will make it available for you in the webshop so that you can simply order it when it runs out.

Then you don’t have to do this every time. Log in to your account on this webshop, and the products we chose together will be available for you to order. If that doesn't work immediately, send me a message and I will sort it out for you.
