And for anyone who doesn't actually wear lipstick but wants something, a pencil alone, blended out, is often enough.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eHow to use it\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTrace the edge, starting at the corners of your mouth and working toward the center. That’s where the shape is and where things usually go wrong. Then fill in the entire lip instead of just the edge, otherwise, you will see a dark outline around a faded center after a few hours. After that, you can apply lipstick or gloss, or leave it as is. Not because it’s spectacular, but because it makes your color last much longer, and that makes more of a difference than a more expensive lipstick. What I often adjust in the studio: people draw their line just outside or just inside the edge of their lip. Look in the mirror where your lip tissue transitions into skin and place your line exactly there.
